A CSR approach for a sustainable future
Since 2021, our cooperative has been committed to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach, integrating the three fundamental pillars of sustainable development: environmental, social and economic.
This collective initiative is led by a committee made up of winegrowers and employees, determined to build a more virtuous viticulture.Our programme, named DEMAIN, symbolises our corporate strategy and our determination to move towards ever more responsible production. It is built around several major areas of action.
Our actions for responsible viticulture
Joining a wine cooperative means committing your work for the long term. Our vines, planted for several decades, reflect a sustainable, collective vision. The Cave Coopérative des Vignerons de Montagnac Domitienne has always embodied this ambition: producing quality wines while respecting our land and its ecosystem. Taking a responsible approach means taking concrete action to protect our terroir and enhance our region. Since 2022, we have been signatories to the Agro Occitanie CSR charter, aligned with the ISO 26000 standard. This commitment guides us towards ever more virtuous practices and enables us to meet societal and environmental expectations.
Strong values in the service of the collective
The cooperative is, above all, about people. Our winegrowers share essential values: solidarity, passing on know-how, and honesty. Every day, we work together to support the development of our region and preserve an environment conducive to sustainable agriculture. We are fortunate to have many young winegrowers among our members, a guarantee of dynamism and renewal. Their enthusiasm and ambition ensure the continuity of our cooperative and the evolution of our practices.

Our winegrowers’ approach is rooted in the long term, respecting ecological balances and promoting sustainable practices.
As early as 2014, we introduced mating disruption, a natural method of vine protection that limits the use of plant protection products—particularly insecticides—by releasing pheromones to disrupt and prevent the reproduction of grapevine moths.
In addition, more and more winegrowers are choosing to move towards organic farming, thereby meeting growing demand for organic wines. This strategic direction makes Montagnac Domitienne a key player in this rapidly expanding market.
A major commitment to HVE certification
Today, 80% of our vineyard is engaged in the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification. This approach guarantees practices that respect biodiversity, water management and the reduction of inputs. Our goal is to achieve a fully certified vineyard in the years to come.

Terra Vitis, sustainable and responsible viticulture
Our winery is also involved in the Terra Vitis certification, a label recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture. This certification promotes sustainable viticulture that respects people, nature and wine. It embodies our commitments and our determination to produce quality wines while respecting our ecosystem.
